Hi I'm Jackson,i have been widowed for 8 years. I am really just now re-entering the dating market. So there is a lot I have forgotten so be (email hidden).I love sports especially college football and like to attend a few games every year if possible. I enjoy going out to dinner...especially Italian over a glass of wine. Enjoy going to movies as well as sitting home watching them while relaxing. I would describe myself as easy going who enjoys traveling and making over weekend trips when possible.I would love to meet people with common interests and simply see if there is a connection and where things go from there,i don't drink beer,I prefer a glass of wine or an occasional single malt scotch.I'm looking for someone who isn't superficial and vain.I'm looking for a intelligent woman. I would definitely characterize myself as an intellectual type. The things I like, whether it be movies, music, books or even people, tend to have a degree of depth to them. I hope that doesn't come across as being a snob. I'm not. I suppose living in New Jersey opened my eyes to a very wide range of interests. I'm a fan of culture and as I mentioned....the arts. And I am ideally looking for a like-minded person. A person who can sit down at dinner over a glass of wine and talk about a wide range of topics. Allow me to stress one thing....I'm not 'actively' in the market for a wife. What I mean by that is I am very comfortable with myself and my life. I have learned many things about myself since my spouse passed away 8 years ago. One of those things is that I can be absolutely fine alone. I like myself and am completely at ease in my own company. Sure it's nice to go to dinner with someone. It's nice to sit and watch a sunset together over a glass of wine. Or to attend a jazz club together. But it is not a requirement that I have someone in my life in order to be happy. I am not opposed at all to meeting someone and spending the rest of my life with them, but if it doesn't happen I won't feel that I have an unfulfilled life.
